Introductions & Intentions

Anyone that knows me knows that I have mixed feelings about therapists putting blogs on their website.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy reading or better understanding another’s perspective - especially one that I consider to be an expert in the field - it’s just that I believe having a blog requires relevancy (are you posting) and consistency (ie. is your last blog offering two years ago?), two characteristics that I personally have seldom seen done well in the therapeutic community.

With that being said, I am making the dangerous decision to wade into potentially hypocritical waters - I am creating a blog.

My plan is to update it weekly, and put limits on the amount of time that I spend which each entry. No giving space to paralysis by analysis, but rather a desire to share a little bit about me and what I believe in life and therapy. My hope is that at least some of it will be beneficial to you.

Without further ado,

Chase
